A little more past and present

Greetings all! I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! I thought I would post a few more pics of things that I had done.I have not be able to figure out how to do an album so this is the best I can do for now. This first picture is a painting that my MIL did in 1977.She titled it "Autumn at the Mill". My FIL made the frame from wood that was taken from a cabin that my MIL was born. They were clearing land for 'improvements' and the cabin got the axe. My husband really treasures this painting so it hangs in our house year 'round.

I tried to get rid of this pic so I could turn it. I couldn't ,so here it is.It's something I started on Thursday from PS " A Prairie Year".I will finish it into a pyn keepe I think.

I stitched this from BBD "Be Kind and True".It's the top portion of the pattern.I finished it into a trinket box for my MIL.The next picture is of the inside. It was a Moda fabric but I can't remember who the designer was.

Next is LHN's Traveling Stitcher that I made into the suggested project keeper. It was stitched for someone else.I should make me one! The next pic is from the inside.I used the flosses from Crescent Colours that was in the pattern pack. The DMC is just for show. The fabric was again a Moda print by 3 Sisters.

Here is LHN's Wool Needlebook pattern.I made it into a needlework set.

I love gameboards and of course LHN patterns. Here are two gameboards from her Garden and Hometown patterns.I made the checkers myself.I just love making those little things.

That's all today! Thanks for stoping by. Hope you can visit again soon!
Take care,
Sharlotte

  3. The LHN project keeper is too cute, and the moda fabric is perfect with it, it really makes the pinks/reds stand out.
