Greetings all! Well Munchie is no longer Munchie. No he's not dead, his name has changed. He is now Twix. What is it about kids not being able to make up their minds? Oh well, I can live with that name. We found Twix and Cheerio in...uhem...somewhat of a compromising position shall we say? So I checked and yep, Cheerio looks different than Twix, who we already knew was a boy because the petstore had told us that he just became a papa. So I am guessing that with the hamster gestation period, we will have a few new hamsters in about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks! What to do?
On the stitchity front, I worked some on It's Berry Time and getting so close to being done.I'll probably finish it up tonight. In deciding what to work on next, I'll probably work on Alex's quilt that needs the hand quilting completed . I'll probably also work on some closets that need to be cleaned out. A few weeks ago when Edgar was cleaning closets, that prompted me to do the same. I got the hall closet done, but need to work on the monsters in the bedrooms! Thanks so much for all the comments! I really appreciate them all!
'til next time,
Happy stitching!
Sharlotte
Congratulations on the upcoming happy occasion. LOL
ReplyDeleteI guess your son will have to pick even MORE names.
lol!
ReplyDeleteWell, it seems like these hamsters are giving your son a bit of a crash course in life, "love", and death. :)
Go, you, on your Closet Attack! Our Linen/Medicine closet needs...attention. And it really couldn't harm the others, either...
I just had to laugh at your birds & bees/hamster story. Sounds like your son will need to think of more snackfood names soon. :-)
ReplyDeleteI think fall cleaning is in the air everywhere. I finally got my craft closet in order and am working on my stitching chest now.
LOL! Oh my goodness, when it rains it pours, doesn't it! Might want to invest in a baby name book!
ReplyDeleteCleaning uh, guess I should follow your wonderful example and get crackin' on my own house...it is a month or two overdue for its bi-annual overhaul!
HAPPY STITCHIN'
Terri
Hi Sharlotte! Thanks for visiting my blog! I love yours and am always happy to find new inspiring stitching friends :)
ReplyDeleteI love your little bee basket featured in your last post.
Hamsters--well what can I say? Every family has to experience having them at least once... Will be watching to see the babies appear :)
Oh my goodness, I just about fainted. I thought you were going to say that munchie was dead! LOL
ReplyDeleteSo does this mean that you and hubby will be grandparents? he he he.
Good luck with your closets and can't wait to see Berry Time :-)
Uh oh, the pitter patter of (more) little feet in the near future! lol Maybe see if your local pet store would buy them? Or put an ad in the paper? Good luck!
ReplyDeleteToo funny. Well, looks like more food names are inevitable! Good luck!
