Good day dear blogging buddies!~ I'd like to give a warm welcome to all of my new followers! Hopefully I will "meet" you all soon. Don't be afraid of the comment button. I'd love to hear from you!
It's that time of year when we all get cabin fever. We find a day that is fairly nice outside and we head for the crafting stores. We start to see Spring blooming right before us as we gaze up and down the isles. That's how it is at my local Hobby Lobby anyway. You see Spring everywhere and can almost see the sunshine and hear the little Spring robins churping. It is now starting to feel like Spring will actually be here in a couple of weeks! I'm exited! The projects are just turning in my head, how about you?
I finally got my "In My Garden" needle roll done. I am quite happy with it.
Here is the needle roll all finished up in needle roll style. I am erked that I can't seem to get my pictures to turn. A recent but annoying problem. You get the idea though. I can just see myself stitching another one of these beauties for exchanges. Sorry about the pictures not being the best of quality. Our camera is getting a little old I think.
For those that are new to my blog or just missed the post..... This is a pattern from Shepherd's Bush. It is stitched on 32 count light sand linen using DMC and hand dyed floss from ,I pressume, The Thread Gatherer, but maybe not. It is embellised with Mill Hill beads, and a little dragonfly charm that was provided in the kit. It is tied up with the cutest ribbon that reads In My Garden. Does anyone know if the gals at Shepherd's Bush have the ribbons they use in their kits specially printed? It seems so , since they all seem to match perfectly.
Well I will run along . I have loads to do today! Thanks for your wonderful and warm comments!
Take care and don't be a stranger,
Sharlotte

Your blog is very interesting and your completed projects are lovely - I see you recently purchased a PunchNeedle pattern, my box of stash contains 2 of these but as yet I haven't attempted them and know of noone else who has so would love to hear how easy they are and what the finished effect is like .... keep up the good work!

I'm just loving all your needlerolls! You're getting sos many of them done. And I do think that the SB ladies have their ribbons specially printed. Seems too me that I have the Millenium needleroll and there was a special printed ribbon for that!
ReplyDeleteSharlotte, your project is beautiful and you are definitely thinking spring with all your spring projects I've just seen (smile).
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by.
