Rose Sampler

Greetings all!~ I hope you all are doing well today! I had an awful time yesterday with my blood pressure. I usually don't run a high one but boy I did yesterday! Here's hoping I have a better day today with it. I did manage to finish LHN's Rose Sampler into a stitching bag.It turned out ok. I couldn't get the edges to lay straight on the linen even though it was pinned. I will just add some lace around the edge and I think it will look a lot better. It is making me hopeful for Spring!

I have some other projects slated for this week. I need to fit my cleaning and organizing in too , so we'll see how that goes! I should probably work on my son's quilt today to before it gets too warm to use it!
Hope you all have a great creative day!
'til next time,
Happy stitching!
Sharlotte

  4. First, let me say congratulations to dear Jackie on her win! Enjoy the sweet little strawberry...and Sharlotte, that was such a nice thing for you to do!

Second, what a beautiful finish...Rose Sampler turned out wonderfully...as do all of your projects! BTW, were you able to recover the piece that the sweet doggie ate up??!!

Please take good care of yourself...and hope you are feeling better soon! Until later...

    HAPPY STITCHIN'

  6. Hey Terri,
I wasn't able to recover the piece it's that Daisy chewed up. I was able to at least save the lid as a pattern to re-stitch it. I don't have the orignial anymore so that's a good thing!

  7. Sorry to hear about your BP, Sharlotte. Now, you have even more reason to be stitching and staying relaxed. Hope you feel better today. The Rose Sampler is beautiful and I think the bag will be lovely with the lace. Linen can be so difficult to work with sometimes! Hope you are having a better day!

  15. Sharlotte, take care of yourself!! You need to take it easy. Beautiful stitching. Sit down and get stitching something else and rest that BP! Or maybe was it a gorgeous finish that caused your BP to go up!? ;)
