Learning my ABC's

Greetings dear friends and blogging buddies!~ Well, here it is Monday , and low and behold , I DO have a post for today! :) I started working on Lizzie Kate's ABC's that I won a little while back from Melissa. I am enjoying every bit of it!! Not too shabby a start for a few days work. I worked on this this weekend and then another day or two a few weeks ago. I am stitching it on 28 count mushroom Jazlyn as opposed to the 32 count lambswool that it is supposed to be stitched on. It will wind up being a little bigger than it is supposed to be, but , that's ok.



I did do some hand quilting on my son's quilt and then I also put a few stitches into Village at Hawk Run Hollow (VoHRH) . Remember back when I started on that? I really need to get going on it again!

I will spend today stitching on a pincushion for my Mom's birthday which is Wednesday. I am hoping that I will get to see her that day. We are expected to get a big snow storm starting today . We could get up to 12 inches! I am thinking about Ma Teakettle today. Did you read that she has gotten 56 inches so far for the month of January? Yikes!

I also found out that I won a giveaway for a pattern of a quilted banner that I have been wanting! Yay for me! I have been informed that it is on it's way , so I will show a pic of that and some details when it arrives!!! Thanks again Kim!!

    Love your new start - the springy colors!! The storm is heading our way too - ugh!

    Some good stitching progress. I just love this series of designs from LK. I want to stitch the Aging Artfully one. I think our storm is starting with a night and whole day of freezing rain and ice...ugh. Then the snow comes. Don't think I will be venturing out!

    Lovely start on your ABC's, good choice of linen, thread colours combine well with it.
    Hope the snow doesn't cause too many probs, I think we've all seen enough of it now, even our little bit here in England, it's time for Spring! xxx
